resources

Earth has a limited supply of essential resources. These include iron ores, aluminium ore, titanium ore and fossil fuels. Continued mining of these resources on Earth will eventually lead to there being little or none left. This means that we would have to look elsewhere, and where better to look than the Moon. The lunar crust is composed of a variety of elements, such as uranium, potassium, silicon, magnesium, titanium and aluminium. The composition of the Moon is thought to be similar to that of Earth, although the Moon lacks an iron core and has less volatile elements.Nevertheless, should there be a lack of these elements on Earth, the Moon is a viable alternate source.
